ALEISTER CROWLEY
OCCULT FRAUDSTER

A Crowley : A mystical approach

Here we see a posed portrait of the man in esoteric garb which redolent of middle eastern tastes and suggestive of mystical schools. A thoughtful posture and classic profile shot. What other image and message is being conveyed here ?

Crowley appears to posess a skin and facial deformity on ( his ) left cheek - even tho the age of the picture suggests the paper itself has deteriorated and not the sitter. The shading in and around his left ear juxtaposed with that across the centreline of his face and turban, courtesy of the photographer, creates the long lizard face looking out at you from the left and holding the same posture using Crowley's hands.

Not convinced ? I wasn't, either, at first inspection. Let us continue..........

An opposite profile to the above here, using the folds of his turban and the rear shadowing. We can see the shape of a reptile-looking creature with a long angular face and elongated eyes. I have used my PC airbrush facility to reverse the ' normal ' purpose of the photographer's lighting, to draw your attention to the covert imagery blended into it. Its deconstucting the technique Crowley used to enhance these shots. Try it.

Inverted the picture completely this time. Its ' Jabba the Hut ' or a similar creature. You will encounter this entity again later. What race is this, I wonder ?
