Case on Hitler
Analysis #3
NAZI PROPAGANDA
A PSYCHIC APPROACH ( DIVINATION )

Were it not for the gravity of the matter, I would have laughed at this schoolboy shrine to the occult. AH is shown using moulten lead droplets to divine the future - something of a poor result for him on this occaision, it is reported. You will see a female assistant in the background and apparently another arm in the distant background. Now look again.

I was immediately interested by the crude, tinsel-winged creature with outstretched wings marked B. Then, that AH appeared to have multiplied his weight and become obese at such a young age. You will see that his neck at C, and down to his right flank, has been airbrushed by censors. Why ? Moreover, at A you will observe that the shadow around his forehead obliterates the face of the female assistant and creates the sort of cranial angularity exhibited by the American 1960's Addams Family frankenstein comedy-monster called ' Lurch '. But there are more visual anomalies : look at the hair of the female assistant. She appears to have two distinct circular hair retaining devices almost in the right place to resemble eyes martked D. But of what ? Reverse the contrast, and this is what you get.
